Battery Disposal (Directive 2006/66/EC)
In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following:
As an end user, you are legally required to return used batteries. You may return used batteries free of charge to our shipping warehouse (shipping address), provided that we carry or have carried such batteries in our product range.
The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meanings:
- The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that the battery must not be disposed of with household waste.
- Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004% lead by mass
- Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002% cadmium by mass
- Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by mass
Please observe the above instructions.
Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)
We are not a manufacturer of electrical equipment within the meaning of § 3 No. 9 ElektroG. However, as a distributor of electrical equipment, we ensure that only products are placed on the market whose manufacturers have properly registered with the German Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt) in accordance with § 6 (2) sentence 1 ElektroG.

Disposal
Products marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol must not be disposed of with household waste.
Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) may contain hazardous substances which, if released, can have serious negative effects on the environment, wildlife, and human health.
Before disposal, batteries and rechargeable batteries should be removed where possible and disposed of separately.
You may return up to five of our products free of charge at retail stores (sales area > 400 m²), provided that no dimension exceeds 25 cm. Alternatively, you may return old devices to us by post, and we will bear the associated costs.
